Al-Alak: The government is working on a roadmap for comprehensive electronic transformation, 16 MARCH

Wazine News – Baghdad The Governor of the Central Bank, Ali Al-Alak, announced on Saturday that the government is working on a roadmap for comprehensive electronic transformation.
Al-Alak said: “The government is working with a plan and a roadmap to switch to e-government, and there are steps, efforts and a data center, and we hope that the ministries will initiate interaction.”

He added that “the Central Bank has an integrated plan, we were able during the past year to reduce 50% of paper use in the Central Bank, and soon we will arrive to get rid of paper transactions.”
He continued, “The Central Bank is working to have a digital currency, and this is a big work that is being worked on in the bank in coordination with international and Arab organizations and entities and directly with the Arab Monetary Fund.”
