BRUCE'S BIG CALL
WHERE ARE WE NOW ?
Let's start with a question about trusts: do we need one? It is advisable to have one already and use the name as an umbrella for the LLCs, and the bank accounts will appear under the name of the LLC. Bruce created it with a trust attorney. If you don't have a trust, I don't think you can do it the same day, but you will be able to do it very soon after the exchange.
Bruce does not know if the QFS is created under the trust or not. It's best if you have the time and money, but it's advisable to do it with an estate planner. In your trust, name your trustees, beneficiaries, and heirs. It is not necessary to have an escrow on the exchange, but let's say within the first two weeks.
Many people in the same family are not aware of all this; There are believers and non-believers. Bruce would say that if they have doubters, hopefully they can mend those relationships after the relocation. So comfort them with these words.
Also about the MedBeds, some believe and some don't, and Bruce has spoken to doctors and nurses who have physically visited them. So no wonder they don't believe in the GCR, and there will just be one basket and that's it.
