Regarding the Arab Summit, the Iraqi President stated, "Holding the Arab Summit in Baghdad is important in light of the Arab problems and crises in Palestine, Sudan, Lebanon, and Syria," adding, "We will work to study them, issue decisions and recommendations regarding them, and work to implement them."

He also stressed that "the Palestinian people need everyone's support, and it is essential to focus on stopping the fighting, delivering humanitarian and medical aid, and working to guarantee the Palestinian people's right to build their state."

Rashid welcomed the lifting of sanctions on Syria, adding, "We hope for security and stability for the Syrian people and for them to enjoy a democratic system that represents all components and groups."

Regarding Iraq's domestic affairs, the country's president said, "We are working to continue combating administrative and financial corruption, and we have taken important steps to combat the spread of drugs."

He also touched on the legislative elections scheduled to be held in Iraq at the end of the current year, expressing his hope that they would be successful, that all political forces would participate, that the results would reflect the will of the Iraqi people, and that they would be conducted with integrity and transparency.

Regarding the disputes and outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad, Rashid noted that "the absence of an oil and gas law is causing numerous problems between the federal government, the Kurdistan Region, and the provinces," noting that the passage of this law will resolve these issues.
