Microsoft to cut workforce by up to 4% in latest round of layoffs

Microsoft said it will cut less than 4% of its workforce, or roughly 9,000 jobs, as it aims to get rid of layers of management and utilize new technologies. The news comes as the company invests billions in its AI efforts.
