The news out of Iraq is flooding in — and it’s ALL very positive! However, the U.S. still has key conditions for Iraq to meet before the RV (Revaluation) can move forward. Let’s break down what’s happening and what still needs to happen for the big event:

✅ Key Conditions for RV Reinstatement:

1️⃣ Private Banks Must Comply with International Standards:
Deadline is August 31st, though many banks have waivers until year-end. This points to a potential RV in January 2026.

2️⃣ Expulsion of PMF (Pro-Iranian Militias):
The law to incorporate these militias into Iraq’s security forces was retracted, but the U.S. insists they fully leave Iraq.

3️⃣ Oil and Gas Law Must Pass Parliament:
Significant progress, but only a draft law exists. It has not yet been submitted for a parliamentary vote. Essential for government stability and constitutional compliance.

4️⃣ Battle Between Parallel Market & Official Dollar Rate:
The dollar jumped above 1440 IQD, but a decline is expected soon.

5️⃣ Central Bank Must Recover About 80% of Currency Outside the Banking System.
