St. Paul police say officers were involved in a shooting Friday afternoon on the city’s east side. The shooting was near a Cub Foods store in the area of Maryland Avenue East and Clarence Street.
There was a large police presence at the Cub Foods store. A witness told KARE 11 they heard gunshots as they were walking out of the store.
St. Paul police said no officers were injured but have not released further details. They said they expect to provide more information later on Friday.
The Minnesota BCA is investigating the incident.
